Special Olympics Burlington also offers two social events for all our athletes. In late November/early December, we have our Winter Wonderland Dinner Dance for all our registered Burlington athletes. In the spring, Special Olympics Burlington host our annual Spring Fling Fundraiser for all our registered Burlington athletes, their families, as well as our coaches, volunteers and their families. These events are two of the social highlights for our athletes, as it gives them an opportunity to meet other athletes from the community. practice their social skills and to try all the latest moves on the dance floor. Both these events are sponsored by the Burlington Civitan Club.
