10 pin bowling was our fastest growing sport last year. One of the reasons for its' popularity is adaptability: children and adults of nearly every ability level can participate, and our athletes enjoy bowling as a leisure, recreational and social activity, as well as a competitive opportunity. Bowling is a lifetime fitness sport which contributes to an athlete's balance, coordination and motor skills. Our Alleycats team hosted a tournament at Burlington Bowl and also participated in the Region 5 Qualifier.
On January 28th, our 10 Pin Bowling team, the Alley Cats, competed in a tournament in Mississauga. It was the second tournament of the season and the athletes did an outstanding job. Congratulations to the following bowlers from this weekend's tournament:
Ryley Dawson Gold
Pat Fredele Gold
Jessica Hall Bronze
Samantha Hayes Bronze
Justin Degelis Silver
Brad Hayes Bronze
Tyler Scherien Silver
All our athletes did an amazing job and the scores were very close. Thank you to Coaches Marcia, Erica and Carlos for being there for the team and giving up their Sat. for all our athletes. We are very lucky to have such wonderful coaches.
